The Adventurer Club also provides parents with opportunities to model Christian values while enjoying special activities with their kids. ParentingThe Adventurer Club supports parents and guardians as they endeavor to raise happy and healthy children who are committed to living for Jesus Christ. The Adventurer Club does not take this responsibility away from parents, or separate parents from their children during club activities. Instead, parents and guardians are a central part of the Adventurer Club. Activities
Each Adventurer is encouraged to participate in all club activities, and parents and guardians are given assignments along with their kids. There are many fun and educational activities on the Adventurer menu such as games, outdoor activities, nature exploration, family camping, field trips, and community service projects. CurriculumThe Adventurer curriculum is organized around the four basic relations in a child's life: My God, My Self, My Family, and My World. In My God Adventurers learn exciting Bible stories and how to develop a growing relationship with God. My Self teaches kids to appreciate their God-given individuality. My Family helps kids become happy and productive members of their family. My World leads kids to appreciate the world God created and their responsibility for its care. Awards
When Adventurers master a new skill, they will receive a patch in recognition of their achievement. Adventurers can earn awards in the arts and crafts, household arts, nature, spiritual, and recreation categories. |
