I'm New - Frequently Asked Questions

PV Church

What are services like?

Each Sabbath (Saturday) finds members and guests praying, singing and studying together at our 8 a.m. and 10:50 a.m. services.  Our 9:30 a.m. Bible study classes are age appropriate small groups.

“…And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works,
not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together….” Hebrews 10:25

How do I get to your church?

Head over to our Contact page, for a map and complete directions.

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9

What should I wear?

Whatever you are most comfortable in.  People wear a variety of clothing styles from “Sabbath Best” to casual.  We strive to come to church with a spirit of willing Worship.

“…For the LORD sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks on the heart.” 1 Samuel 16:7

What makes Paradise Valley church special?

We are a Bible believing church that greets our guests with open doors and hearts.  It is our earnest desire to learn about all who come to worship with us, so don’t be surprised when we greet you by name on subsequent visits.  You may be asked to sign a Guest Book, but there is no requirement to sign or divulge any personal information.  A Prayer Book is located in our Foyer, feel free to write in anything you would like our Pastoral staff and others to pray over.

“Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.”
Matthew 22:37

What about Students?

Our youth program is further broken down into Junior (High School age) & Senior (Collegiate age) youth.  These groups often participate in outreach and social activities like Extreme Makeover:  Camp Meeting Edition, Neighborhood Clean-up, Picnics, Laser Tag, or Singing Outreach.

both listening to them and asking them questions. And all who heard Him were astonished at His understanding and answers.” Luke 2: 46, 47
